Scholarship Application for Indigenous Climate Action Plan Training Program

The Program

The Center for Sustainable Development has been providing training for developing climate action plans for indigenous communities for fourteen years.

We have recently adapted the training program to be specialized for indigenous communities in North America: The United States (including Alaska and Hawaii), and all of Canada.

We are providing 12 full scholarships as part of launching this new version.

The scholarship is meant to be inclusive of a range of indigenous participants:

  • engaged community members
  • students
  • organizational members and employees of Tribes/Bands/Groups/Nations
  • government members of Tribes/Bands/Groups/Nations
  • environmental and climate professionals and nonprofits
